VW TRAIN AT THE AUTOMUSEUM

Nice VW train used at the Vw Factory to take the visits for a ride. Thay should have this type at our local Loro Parque!!!

VW AUROMUSEUM: BAYWINDOW CABRIO

This is a rare example of cabrio baywindow exhibited at the VW Automuseum at Wolfsburg,
used for VIPs visits to the factory is a chopped eight-seater:

ELECRIC PROTOTYPE: BAYWINDOW T2b

The first time I passed by this baywindow I didn´t notice its peculiar secret......



We can appreciate the air-vent openings on both sides to cool the batteries instaled below the cargo section. As displayed, it was a Baywindow kombi T2b with US especifications

This notice on the windscreen is the main clue to recognise the electric prototype:

This is the only doka exhibited at the museum. A bit dissapointing as I expected to find any T1 or T2 Doka there, but I had to accept that this T3 syncro is really beautiful!

AUTOMUSEUM PART TWO

Other precious jewels kept at the automuseum. Unfortunately, no more T1s or T2s can be seen there as they mainly collect cars. What a pity!
