That was what happened in Spain when the dokas were first sold, even though they were meant & designed for 6 "husky men", here only 5 passengers were allowed to travell inside. What was the purpose of that? Mainly to protect the national production centered on Ebro, Pegaso, DKV & Sava and avoid customers buying them as they were not "REAL CREWCABS", but five-seaters just like a common car...

To my surprise, today I discovered that a friend´s vw doka was authorised for six passengers! It´s an early baywindow and later ones as mine are only five-seaters. Maybe we can use its documents to claim to the authorities and get permission to transport six passengers at last!!
I think it´s just a matter of time the doka club will be able to transport 18 passengers on 3 double cabs for the next barbacue!!
